Dr. Matthew J. Watson is a 1996 graduate of the SUNY College of Optometry, and lifelong resident of Rockland County.  He opened Eyevolution Optique with the goal of providing exceptional care to a community he loves. In the fourteen years since then, we've fit toddlers with their first pair of glasses and great grandmothers with their last. Following a spinal cord injury in February of 2017, he has ceased his involvement in direct patient care.  As the Medical Director of Eyevolution he is assembling a team of therapeutically licensed optometrists with advanced training in the management of ocular disease, complex contact lens fittings and behavioral vision therapy.  Dr. Watson will continue to spearhead our efforts in community involvement and engagement.

Carl H. Cameau returns to Eyevolution following four years as the Principal Optician & Lab Manager at MYKITA's flagship store in Manhattan.  Now as our partner, Carl brings his passion for precision to create exceptional eyewear of the highest quality. Well versed on ZEISS and HOYA lens designs, he'll match your needs to the right choice to provide optimal vision regardless of your desired task.
